Car Enthusiast. Photographer. Traveller. Tech Nerd
Stemming from his interest in cars and the mechanisms behind them since childhood, Geoffrey studied Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at London Kingston University in 2009. He soon realised that the endless exams and lectures were not something that he wanted to endure for another 3 years. He did however enjoy the more practical, hands-on aspect of his course. It was after this that Geoffrey decided to undergo a change in career direction, something that involved more practical learning away from the university route.
As well as being into cars, Geoffrey was also interested in IT, often being called upon by friends and family to solve various technical issues with their computers. He enjoyed the aspect of problem solving involved and so with this in mind, he undertook a 6-month course in IT with a plan to develop a career in this area. To date he has worked for well-known companies such as Burberry, WPP, Publicis Groupe, Hearst Magazine UK and Global Brands Group.
His interest in photography grew from seeing the photographic work of others around him especially seeing how much could be captured in one picture and on top of that the way different colours and angles could completely alter the way a photo is viewed. Geoffrey uses the Nikon D5100 to capture the photos that you see on this blog today.
in 2013 Geoffrey entered the London Bikeathon and cycled 52 miles for UK charity Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research who fund scientific research which focuses on improving diagnosis and treatment for blood cancer patients.
